1st HALF

The venue Yate ( King Edmond School ), weather conditions drizzle with a cold wind chill factor.

Fry’s kick the game off, and Charlie forces the keeper to make an early save. Yate respond and shoot wide. Mitchell passes to Charlie and sends it through to Jordan only for the Yate keeper to make a save. Yates goal keeper kicks out for Jordan to control it and shoot wide, Fry’s win a corner but Yate are first to the ball and clear down the line. Harry controls and sends down the right, Sam to Jordan, Jordan to Mitchell, Mitchell to Charlie.  Charlie shoots but is cleared off the line. Yate kick a high ball into our defence, Liam controls it sending it back into their defence.

2nd HALF

Yate are on the attack and shoot narrowly grazing the post.  Mitchell breaks down the left beating two players and sends the ball into the middle but no one gets on the end of it. Sam passes the ball to Charlie in the corner, Charlie beats two players and scores to make it 0-1 to Fry’s. Charlie attacks through the middle and shoots this time to see it rebound off the post for the keeper to save. Yates keeper kicks out for Mitchell to volley and narrowly just go wide, again another combination from midfield and wings to create a goal mouth scramble from which Fry’s could not capitalise. Mitchell first to the ball and makes a great run on the left he shoots only to watch it bounce off the post.

1^st HALF

Fry’s start well and are on the attack.  Yate respond and both Morgan and Kieron defend well.  Yate stay strong and narrowly miss a shot on goal.  Ollie attacks for Fry’ through the midfield, he’s working hard but Yate are not going to make this easy.  Yate take the game back to the Fry’s end and Morgan does a great job in defence.  The game is now end to end and Ollie and Jamie keep battling up front.

Harry on for Jacob

Yate break and again Morgan does a sterling job in defence.  Kieron and Ollie link well and pass to Jamie.  Jamie takes a shot at goal but there’s not enough power behind the ball.  Good passing by Jamie and James.  Ollie breaks through midfield and takes on the Yate defence.  Yate respond and both Harry and Morgan do well in defence.  An even game, both teams attacking and defending well.  Final whistle and game ends 0-0.
